Early this week I received a phone
call to report to our campus on Friday at 11 am... I assumed it was for a
meeting I asked for as a favor...But to my surprise it was a presentation of an
award to me. I was selected by the American College of Emergency Physicians for
the Medical Student Professionalism and Service Award in recognition of
excellence in compassionate care of patients, professional behavior and service
to the community and the specialty of emergency medicine.
